Phi Phi Erawan Palms Resort is owned by the same family as Phi Phi Natural Resort and is located on the same beach, Laem Tong - a pristine strip of sand towards the northern tip of Phi Phi Don Island. It's one of the few mid-range hotels that are located on the secluded beaches out of town; your handful of neighbours will be mainly luxury boutique or 5 star properties - the beach itself is certainly of this calibre.

Rates are still relatively high for the standard of accommodation, but the value comes with the stunning beach, horizon pool and decent snorkelling a few metres from the sand directly in front of the resort. It is also a short hop over to Bamboo Island, another in the Phi Phi group, famed for its white sand and turquoise water.

All rooms are designed with high quality natural materials, featuring highly polished wood floors and traditional Thai fabrics and soft furnishings.

Phi Phi Erawan Palms has its own restaurant, but in fact with three other resorts sharing this beach, as well as a couple of independent eateries, you will not be restricted to here for food and evening entertainment. The resort also organises trips into "town" for those who wish to go shopping or sample the more lively nightlife scene over there.

Communal facilities include the beachfront swimming pool, with its attractive wood decking, activities and tour desk, laundry, massage, phone and fax services, and money exchange.

All rooms benefit from air-conditioning; ensuite bathroom with hot / cold water shower; TV with satellite channels; an in-room internet connection (cable); fridge with minibar. Electricity is provided 24 hours a day.

Standard Room : These are located in a two storey building (upper and lower floors) and have their own private balconies.

Superior and Deluxe Cottages: These are individual wooden cottages spread out around the garden, with the deluxe category being closer to the beach / pool area. Rooms are nicely spaced to ensure privacy for guests and the cottages themselves are fairly spacious.

Remarks
Rates are per room per night, based on 2 sharing and include all applicable local taxes and daily American breakfast.

Children under the age of 12 years sharing a room with 2 adults may stay free of charge with the existing bedding (breakfast not provided; optional fee of 250 THB per child per day). An extra bed is compulsory for a child 12 years and over, or 3rd adult sharing with 2 other adults; this price includes breakfast. Maximum of one extra bed permitted per room.

Compulsory Gala Dinner charges will be levied on all guests in house on 24 and 31 December: 24 Dec - adult / 2300 THB, child / 900 THB; 31 Dec - adult / 3000 THB, child / 1250 THB.

Phi Phi Erawan Palms Resort: cancellation policy
Any cancellations made less than 15 days before the due arrival date (30 days for stays between 20 Dec and 10 Jan) will be charged one night's stay. No-shows on the arrival date and early check-outs will also be charged one night's stay.

Please note that following cancellation, any refund due under the hotel policy above will be subject to a processing charge of 5% of refund value + 350 THB to cover bank costs.
Amendments to any booking (e.g. change of dates, extension of stay) that do not require a refund may be made free of charge.
